Erinc Salor is a PhD candidate working on Wikipedia and its encyclopedic heritage at the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis. He holds Masters degrees in Cultural Analysis (University of Amsterdam) and European Studies (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven) and has a background in Economics (Istanbul Bilgi University). His doctoral research focuses on the Internet, the history of the book and the interaction between societies and different media. Other research interests include unique narrative potentials of comics, science fiction and video games.
